The Syn-Tea- Sizer 2017

The Syn-Tea- Sizer  was created by I.Murphy and J.Pigott as part of a FabCre8 research project into interactive art. It is a touch interactive sound piece, which exploits the conductivity of gold lustre on ceramic objects to make a playable still life of domestic objects. Each piece is linked to a sound recording which the object itself has produced.

The piece was exhibited as part of the Ceramics Ireland show 'Touchstone' at Farmleigh Gallery, Dublin and the National Craft Gallery Ireland, in 2017
